Joyce Khoo is an accomplished Australian lawyer who leads JK Lawyers with over two decades of unparalleled experience. Graduating from Monash University with dual degrees in Law and Economics (major in Accounting), Joyce Khoo brings a wealth of legal capability to every endeavour.

Joyce Khoo’s leadership encompasses the ability to understand the complex needs and circumstances of clients’ background, the expertise to draw out thorough instructions from clients that is vital to resolve legal issues, the adeptness in crafting innovative legal solutions, her tenacity to win over successful triumphs in many intricate cases.


She has been a registered migration agent with the Migration Agents Registration Authority since 1996 (MARN 9902187), was a member of the Migration Institute of Australia, and when the arrangements changed her MARN was updated to LPN 5511753. Joyce Khoo is committed to delivering results both locally and internationally.

Joyce is fluent in English and has functional Mandarin. Outside of work, Joyce enjoys sleeping, is a connoisseur of fine foods, eclectic desserts and shiraz. Joyce has a soft spot for animals, particularly the black tipped golden British Shorthair.

Legal Assistant to Joyce Khoo

Jess is a legal assistant/law clerk who supports the principal and other solicitors with a variety of matters including family law, criminal law, VCAT, wills and estates, and intervention order matters. She is currently studying a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and Bachelor of Global Studies double degree at Monash University and hopes to eventually work in the international human rights sphere.

Until then, she is enjoying diversifying her legal experience and assisting with as many different matters as possible. Jess has over 5 years’ experience in customer service positions, having worked in retail, hospitality and tutoring extensively throughout that period, which has greatly assisted her ability to provide detailed, efficient and client-focused services.


Her daily legal tasks include drafting and reviewing legal documents, engaging in correspondence, liaising with clients, barristers, third parties and the Court, conducting legal research and managing client files.
